GOVERNING's Public Officials of the Year are extraordinary public servants who provide distinguished leadership, strong management expertise and good governance.

 

We invite you to nominate such an individual for GOVERNING's Public Officials of the Year. Do you know an outstanding state, city or county leader who has shown true courage, innovation, creativity and excellence in his or her job?

 

We accept nominations year round. However, we are no longer accepting submissions for 2013. The deadline for nominations for the 2014 awards is Friday, May 30, 2014.
